Founded in 1912, Bonnyton Thistle has been part of the Kilmarnock football community for more than a century, creating opportunities for generations of players to enjoy the game and develop their football.

Today, that tradition continues across the club, with a pathway stretching from Mini Kickers and youth football through to our development and senior teams.

At every level, Bonnyton is about more than what happens on the pitch. We’re proud to provide a welcoming environment where players, coaches, volunteers, families and the wider community can be part of the club.

Bonnyton Facility

Warwickhill Rd, Kilmarnock KA1 2LT

The Bonnyton facility is used primarily by our younger age groups, including our Mini Kickers, alongside selected community and external use.

The facility is generally in use for club training from around 5pm until 8pm or 9pm, Monday to Friday.

We are also open to enquiries from local community groups, charities and organisations interested in using the facility. External use is considered on a case by case basis to ensure activities are suitable and the facility is properly managed. For availability or to discuss using the Bonnyton facility, please get in touch with the club.

Townholm Facility

15 Townholm, Kilmarnock KA3 1BB

Townholm is the club’s main facility and is at the heart of Bonnyton Thistle’s football and community activities.

The facility is generally in use from 5pm until 9.30pm, Monday to Friday, with weekend activity starting from around 8.30am and continuing throughout the day’s scheduled fixtures.

Townholm also includes a community hall which can be made available for suitable events, community groups, charitable activities and other organised uses during the day and, where possible, in the evening. Hall and facility hire enquiries are welcomed, with availability considered on a case by case basis.
